Homebuyers Report
The Homebuyers Report (also known as a Homebuyer Survey and Valuation) uses a standard format created by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. It is best suited for conventional residential properties (including flats) constructed since 1920.
The Homebuyers Report is designed to enable you to:
- Make an informed judgement on whether or not to proceed with the purchase.
- Decide whether or not the property is being sold at a reasonable price
- Provide useful advice that you need before exchange of contracts.
The report is not intended to detail every aspect of the property but is designed to focus on urgent matters requiring attention. This type of report is not intended for properties requiring renovation or where you are intending to carry out major alterations.
